Kuldhara Haunted Village & Bada Bagh : Bada Bagh and
Kuldhara Village are siteated at a distance of approx 8 Km and 25 Km respectively from Jaisalmer city. When you are going for Sand Dunes, you may plan to visit these places also. These have good historical importance.

1. Kuldhara Haunted village : Kuldhara village near Jaisalmer has a very unique history. 
It is said that the residents of 84 neighboring villages including Kuldhara vacated the villages overnight around 170 years back. No one is sure where they have gone. The residents were Paliwal Brahmans and ruler of these villages pounded the Paliwals with heavy taxes and treated them very inhumanly.
When the Paliwals left the villages, they left a curse that nobody can inhabit the villages ever. Residents of Jaisalmer say that there have been some attempts by some families to stay there, but they did not succeed.
2. Bada Bagh : Bada Bagh stands for 'Big Garden'. Initiated and completed by the duo of father-son rulers, it was commissioned by Maharawal Jait Singh in the early 16th century and after his demise, the work was completed by his son Lunakaran. In bada bagh there is garden, a tank and a dam. Near Bada bagh there are the historical cenotaphs. These cenotaphs were dedicated to various Bhatti rulers and are locally known as Chattris. These chattris are made by the grandsons in the memories of the rulers.
