250 gm Dahi (Curd)
250 gm Potatoes
1 Spoon Garam Masala
1 Green Chilli
1 Spoon Red Chilli Powder
1/2 Spoon Turmeric Powder
1 " Ginger
1/2 Spoon Coriander Powder
1/2 Spoon Cumin Seed
Oil
Pinch of Asafetida
Salt to taste
1) Boil the potato. Peel it and cut into 8-12 pieces
2) Make a paste with curd, one cup of water, turmeric powder, Red chilly powder, garam Masala, Coriander power, finely chopped green chilli and salt.
3) Heat the oil and cook cumin seed, asafetida and ginger for 2-3 minutes.
4) Add the potato and stir for 1 minute. Add the paste and stir for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of water and boil for 4-5 minutes.
5) Let the vegetable curry become thick as per your taste.
6) Let it cool for 3-4 minutes. Sweet Potato Curry - Dahi Ka Aloo is served hot.
