2 Cup Basmati Rice
5 Spoon Ghee
8-10 Elaichi (Cardamoms)
2-3 Spoon Kismis
3/4 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup Gari (dry coconut)
3-4 Spoon Desi Ghee
Pinch of yellow color (eatable) and Saffron
1) Soak the rice in a bowl for 10 minutes.
2) Crush the elaichi and chop the gari into small flakes.
3) Dissolve the sugar in one cup of water.
4) Fry the gari with ghee for approx 1 minutes. Add the elaichi & kismis and stir for 1 minutes. Add rice, yellow color and add approx 2 cup of water. 5) Stir for approx 2 minutes and cook in a pressure cooker for approx 2 minutes. Allow it to cool down.
6) Add the sugar solution, saffron, � cup of water and again cook in a pressure cooker for approx 2-3 minutes.
7) Allow it to cool down and serve.
