As we have done in square roots section, in cube roots also you may find the question like smallest number to multiple / divide.
Just follow the methods described in sq roots section. Here is an examples.
Question - Type 8 -
By which number 432 is to be divided to make it perfect cube and what is the cube root.
Answer - 8-
Make the factors of 432
432=2*2*2*2*3*3*3
Now after making group of three, one '2' is left out. Therefore it's to be divided with 2
Now take the numbers, who is having a pair of three; and the cube root is 2*3=6
Now check the answer.
432/2=216 &
the cube of 6 is 6*6*6=216
and 216 is a perfect cube
